Felix Baumgartner is the brainchild of James Cator who has been DJing in clubs around the world for the last 10 years. The idea was then set in stone when he went into the studio with James Reynolds; who has been writing, producing, and mixing some of the biggest house tracks of the last 12 years; James and James found that the tech-house, main room sound that developed in these studio sessions had something special.

Together they are their Austrian alter ego Felix Baumgartner. "Now Your Gone" was their first release - a co write with Juan Kidd and Lisa Millet. Quickly signed to Defected, it rocked the beatport charts, turning out to be one of this years biggest house tracks. Since then they have hammered out a long list of remixes for such labels as Big Love, Art and Craft, Vacation Records, and Destined, to name but a few. The next Felix Baumgartner release set to storm clubland is coming out on their own newly formed label "Refrakt Records", set up in partnership with Hagenaar and Albrecht. Until then, James & James have again retreated to the studio - working on the new Felix Baumgartner live set, which promises to be something special, and will be ready to go on the road and tear the roof off very soon.......
